Career Services exists to help students successfully deal with the challenging decisions about academic majors, preparations for the job search and graduate school.
This mission of Career Services is to provide services and resources to help students choose and prepare for their careers, learn job search skills and find employment.
Career Services advises students and provides resources on preparation required to help students reach their career goals. This includes career assessments, experiential learning opportunities, workshops, individual career advisement, and employer contacts through career fairs, presentations and on-campus recruitment.
The role of Career Services is to act as an educational agency rather than an employment agency. Ultimately, the student is responsible for preparing for his or her career path and for securing the position.
