The First and Second Year Experience

The  First and Second Year Experience (FSYE) Program encourages students to challenge themselves, identify goals and seek the support necessary to achieve those goals. Through this process, students are able to build self-confidence and become more active and responsible participants in their educational pursuits.

The FSYE Program is continually assessed by focus groups using retention data supplied by the Board of Regents. The FSYE program includes the following entities.

  • ASU 1200 Freshman Seminar and Service to Leadership
  • Lecture Series
  • Peer Tutors
  • Book Club
  • Society of Leadership and Success
