Where do I access my ASU Financial Aid information online?

  • Locate any computer (either on campus or off campus) that has Internet Access
  • Go to the Albany State University Website http://www.asurams.edu
  • Click on the Banner Web link
  • Once you have selected Banner Web, the Banner Web Site will be displayed
  • Click on the “Login to Secure Area” to login
  • You will be prompted to enter your User ID and PIN
  • After successfully logging in, follow the necessary links to access information

How do I check to see if ASU has received my FAFSA or other documents that have I submitted?

          o Select Student Services & Financial Aid
          o Select Financial Aid
          o Select My Eligibility
          o Select Student Requirements

  FAFSA’s received are noted as: “ISIR-Institutional Student Information Record”

  • Documents received will be noted as: “Received & Satisfied”
  • Documents not received, but are still required will be noted as: "Required-Please submit”

Are there any documents the Financial Aid Office needs from me to complete my awarding process?

Your financial aid cannot be approved without submitting the outstanding requirements (missing documents).

How do I view my Financial Aid Award Letter?

    * Login on Banner Web with User ID and PIN
          o Select Student & Financial Aid
          o Select Financial Aid
          o Select My Award Information
          o Select View Award Letter

  If there are no approved awards for the selected semester, contact your Financial Aid Advisor.  If this occurs during Registration, go to the designated location to see a Financial Aid Advisor.

How do I check my Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)? How do I check to see if my appeal was APPROVED or DENIED by the appeals committee?

If your status is being reported as Financial Aid “Suspension”, you may file an appeal via an appeal form through the Financial Aid Office.  You can download a copy of the Financial Aid Appeal Petition Form via the following link:
