Welcome to the Department of Nursing at Albany State University. The College of Sciences and Health Professions includes the Department of Nursing which is composed of the two nursing programs in the Department of Nursing: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees. The BSN program is approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing, and the BSN and MSN programs are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Both Nursing programs are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
We wish to ensure that each student is successful in meeting his/her educational goals. Students are encouraged to meet with the faculty or staff as needed. Official correspondence about each nursing course is through ASU email and students are to check their ASU emails at least once per week. Again, we welcome you and encourage you to establish a relationship with your faculty and your Department.
